Jog-A-Thon
Each year St. John the Baptist Catholic School hosts a Jog-A-Thon in which the students actively participate to raise money for necessary school improvements. Since tuition only covers our basic operating expenses, the school relies heavily on fundraisers such as the Jog-A-Thon to raise funds for any other projects.
Jog-A-Thon 2025
This year's Jog-A-Thon will be held on Friday, April 11th
This year SJB students are continuing to raise funds for our gym on which we are have just broken ground! Our fundraising goal is $85,000.
At SJB our annual Jog-A-Thon is more than running laps for 30 minutes while listening to parents cheer as music plays. The Jog-A-Thon motivates students to participate in raising money to enrich their own educational experience and school environment with items and programs not covered by the traditional tuition expenses.

Previous Jog-A-Thons
The money raised by previous Jog-A-Thons has been used to build our giant new playground, Saint City.. Students have benefited from the creation of our Makerspace (STEM Lab) which is outfitted with 3D printers, a green screen, Ozobots, LEGO® Mindstorm and Snap Circuits Kits, as well as a variety of other hands-on materials used to collaboratively solve problems. In addition, Jog-A-Thon funds have been used to upgrade technology, expand our Music curriculum, improve the school library and student bathrooms, and install a large shade structure over the playground.
