Principal-Sr. Mary Vianney Ennis, SM
Sr. Mary Vianney Ennis, SM, joining other devoted Sisters of Mercy, landed on our humble block of Costa Mesa fresh from Ireland in 1962. She was a young, energetic nun ready to take on the world. In her forty-four years at St. John's, thirty-one of them as principal, Sister has never looked back. Her God-given dedication and determination have set St. John's on a course that will mark its identity and destiny forever.

On January 6, 2006, Sr. Vianney celebrated her 65th birthday surrounded by Sisters of Mercy, Priest-friends, colleagues, former students, current parents, and a crowd of devoted friends. She is a loving spouse of Christ, her King. And she has become true "royalty" to all of us at St. John's.
