Summer Events
SJB School wishes everyone a safe and happy summer! The Parent Auxiliary will be hosting the following summer events: 
  • August 20: Beach Bonfire PDF
  • August 22: Parish Movie Night PDF
  • August 23: Ice Cream Social at 12 PM (Join us for a cold treat and see the class lists for the first time)
  • August 24: First day of school!

YOUR JOG-A-THON DOLLARS AT WORK!
The new storage and organizational centers are being assembled and installed in the classrooms throughout the month of July.  Here, the first center is under construction in Room 6B.  When these units are complete, the classrooms will be transformed!  Thank you for your support of this year's Jog-a-thon which raised a record amount of money to make this project possible!

For Incoming Kindergarten through Incoming 8th Grade
 
Time: 
  • Mon. to Fri. from 8:30 am-12 pm
  • NO DAY CARE PROVIDED.

Summer Office Hours:

  • Mon. to Fri. from 8 am-12 pm

Grades: K-6

GRADES: K-6

For K-6 there are classes in Math, English, Reading and Computers.  

Dates:

  • June 29 through July 17, 2009 for students going into Kindergarten through 6th grades.    

Dress Code: 

  • Must wear appropriate school clothing and tennis shoes. 
  • NO SANDALS OR OPEN TOED SHOES.
Fee:
  • K- 6 Summer School Fee:  $170.00 per student. 
Children from other schools are welcome!

Grades: 7-8

GRADES: 7-8

For students going into 7th or 8th there will be Math, English, hands-on Science and Study Skills.  

Dates:

  • June 29 through July 24, 2009 for students going into 7th and 8th grades.
Dress Code:
  • Must wear School P.E. uniform or School shorts and shirt. 
  • Must wear tennis shoes. 
  • NO SANDALS OR OPEN TOED SHOES.
Fee:
  • Junior High Summer School Fee:  $200.00 per student.

Children from other schools are welcome!

  • PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SNACK. 
  • THE KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED!

Calling all SJB Alumni!

St. John the Baptist School is turning 50! The activities and events are scheduled around the 2009-2010 school year. We are celebrating "50 Years of Preparing the Way" A yearlong celebration is being planned that will include many special events and we need the help of all SJB students - present and past.

If you are alumni, please register with us! Your registration will only be used for SJB School purposes, so we can keep you updated!
